We are both very happy, I got the white one with the microphone that goes in and out while she got the black one with an internal microphone. Like me, she really hated the ear piece that is with the Blue Tooth. Either way, it is just like being able to talk through your radio, as some cars are offering. I thoroughly enjoy my Blue Ant. I learned about it from my son who purchased one for his wife.
After a moderate wait I was able to get a live support rep. What kind or condescending product support/warranty is this - product support has no business asking about product price. While the product was delivered promptly enough, alas - it wouldn't even switch on.
At this point - it became pretty obvious that he'd lost all interest in the call and wanted to just get me off the phone. I highly doubt their product warranty means anything to them or - or even if they will stand behind it. Then I asked about their product warranty - I even have a product warranty card - he said, "call the seller first or return it to them.".
I ordered the Blue Ant X5i from Shopcell - an Amazon market place vendor. - send it back to the seller.".When I mentioned the description says - brand new and it arrived in new packaging his answer didn't change. Their product support and brand standards are probably just like their product - substandard and indifferentUnfortunately I can't give them less than 1 star
My first step was to call "BLUEANT" customer support (North America). We went over diagnostics, but within the first minute of the call, his question was "How much did you pay for this product.".When I answered $30 on Amazon.com - his response was " Must have been refurbished.

While this is our first bluetooth speakerphone device and its very clear and easy to use it does have its flaws. Bluetooth connection can be annoying when first set up (not picking up the partnership right away)So in summary we give a 3.
This is meant to be short and sweet: Got this for my girlfriends birthdayso we could talk in the car w/o her having to hold her phone up to her mouth while i was on speakerphone.Pros: 1. Takes forever to pick up a caller (rings on blueants side around 7th ring on phone side)2.
Still works well but could be better especially in picking up the caller (should be faster and not when the phone almost rings to voicemail) Very very clear (for both parties)2.

You think how i ever got along before without one. The bluetooth is a must for anyone who drives and has a cell phone you get clear and hands free talk.
I bought a unit for myself last year, and this one was a gift for my sister (who hates using an earpiece). Voice quality is clear, operation is simple (even without looking at it), battery life is great, and the automatic volume works well. For me, that makes the "multiple pairing" claim a bit of nonsense; certainly it's not feasible to switch devices while you're driving.Other than that, I really like this unit.
I wanted a speakerphone that would connect with more than one device. Although this says it connects to "up to 5 devices". I drive a lot for work, and California doesn't allow drivers to hold the phone.
it does it one at a time, and only automatically connects to the last device it was paired with; to switch device pairing, you have to put it in the pairing mode, and initiate the pairing on your phone/device. She only has the one cell phone, and is very happy with the way this works. Unfortunately, that capability isn't what I had hoped for in this unit.
I wanted a unit that would switch to the active device, to link up when I'm dialing a call, or to answer a call.
